Pioneer gives you a quick and accurate assessment of the current state of manufacturing and its potential improvement both operationally and financially. It provides the building blocks for a business improving operations strategy.

The assessment collects data via a questionnaire to establish the strategic aspirations and current state of manufacturing. Financial data is captured to calculate the potential gross margin improvement for achieving aspirational goals. Once the assessment is complete, reports are generated to display, analyse and download.

The questionnaire focuses on seven components that influence operational and financial performance. These components are divided into six sub-components, each with five levels of grading. Consecutively and for each sub-component, an aspiration level is set and a current state established.

The dashboard manages the completion of the assessment and when finished, enables quick access to the summary and reports.

This summarises the results of the assessment process. It shows an overview of the strengths and weaknesses by component plus the potential for operational and financial improvement.

The questionnaire identifies the gap between the strategic aspirations and the current state of the operation. The financial data, Annual net sales + Cost of Sales (CoS) is used to establish a current gross margin. The improvement expectation is combined with the assessment result to produce a gross margin improvement forecast.

The detailed report examines the strengths and weaknesses overall and for each individual component. It shows the financial benefits for achieving sub-component aspirational goals and provides an action plan to achieve them.
